This week, the roundabout at the access road to the ferry terminal has been completed. Contractor BAM Nuttall, strangely, do not mention the £12m refurbishment contract for the terminal project on their website. Tomorrow will be Remembrance Sunday, and I was relieved to learn that the usual procession and commemoration will go ahead. The Royal British Legion branch was unable to furnish the wreaths, but Western Isles Council, to its credit, has stepped into the breach.
