Friday 4 September

Overcast and wet today, but not nearly as wet as northeastern Scotland. The area east of Inverness has had rainfall totals of nearly 100 mm (4 inches), which has caused serious problems with flooding. The rain is moving away east, leaving folk to clear up the mess.
