Friday 7 January

The dominating theme of today is the snow, and I'll let the imagery do the talking. Suffice to say that the airport shut late in the afternoon, and there is a nice blanket of the stuff now that darkness has fallen.

  2. Beautiful pictures but I know what headaches the white stuff can cause. We're supposed to be getting it again this weekend. The last of the previous snow storm finally disappeared Wednesday. I guess when you don't live in the tropics, you have to expect it. Stay warm & safe.

  3. I don't know why some of your snow photos seem so wonderfully clear, but they do.

  4. Snow pictures always fasinate me as we seldom see anything so beautiful. We had a warm day today but they say the weather is coming soon but probably nothing like that. May be a good thing since we aren't prepared and no one knows how to drive in it.

  5. Our road gritters have been round already this aftrnoon. I expect that means we will have some snow this evening onwards. I just wish it would stay on the fell tops. It does look nice from a distance.
Your photos of the trees in their 'new coats' look lovely!
