Wisdom

A local contact posted this on their Facebook page, and I take the liberty to copy it:

A grandfather is telling his young grandson a story. "Inside everyone there are two wolves who are always fighting - one wolf is full of evil (jealousy, hatred, greed, etc) and the other one is full of good (tolerance, kindness and patience). "And which one wins?" asks the grandchild. "The one you feed!" replied the old man. :)

  1. A wonderful story for a child.
I would like to respond to the old man, "whichever one I feed it is still a wolf!"

  2. Our pastor often uses an example similar to this. In his it is a pitbull and a chihuahua. He speaks about how our sinful, fallen nature the pitbull will always win out over the chihuahua as long as we feed it. But if we quit feeding it and start feeding the chihuahua, our new nature in Christ, at some point that chihuahua is gonna win out over the pitbull. Gotta love a country pastor! ;o)
