Michael Jackson

I don't normally pay much attention to celebrity hype, but Michael Jackson's death has now had an unofficial follow-up. According to a court official in LA, a lethal cocktail of drugs was found in the blood of the singer after his death. Among those was the anaesthetic propofol together with two sedatives. If confirmed, this will make it likely that charges will be brought against the physician tending to Jackson before his death.

  1. We are just getting this news in the states today that it is official and that the drug propofal was the main drug that killed him. The doctor said he demanded it! Whooh. The nurse who said he tried to get her to get some and inject it said he did not seem to be fazed when she told him it would very likely kill him as it was not meant to be administered outside a hospital setting where he could be monitored closely. Suicidal!

  2. I do not 'follow' but one cannot help but see it in the news here in the states. I feel sorry for his family and the doctor, but it seems to me, he brought about his own downward spiral. May he rest in peace. It's just all very sad.

  3. I wasn't a fan of Michael Jackson but I certainly didn't wish him dead. It's sad that he came to such a tragic death.

  4. I really couldn't imagine someone like Michael Jackson having a normal death anyway. I guess that sounds bad, but I have to say that I was pretty sure all along that "something" would come up to make it a bit spectacular. I feel very sorry for his children to have lost him, and it is so sad that he died so relatively young.

  5. But we all knew he was probably going to die before getting old, didn't we?

  6. I feel so sorry for his dear children. I believe the doctor should be held accountable. His responsibility was to Michaels well being - not to induldge him for $$$$.
