Flying, and kids

After yesterday's aircrash at Buffalo, news came this evening that a British Airways jet had a hard landing at London City Airport. The front wheels of the aircraft collapsed on landing, and it came to a halt on the tarmac. The slides were activated and all passengers and crew evacuated safely with only a few minor injuries.

So a 9-year old has written a book on dating. That is already quite odd, but how about a boy of 13 fathering a baby with a girl of 15? Methinks that sex education could have prevented this unfortunate situation.

  1. We are seriously in trouble in guys need to take the advice of a 9 year old boy for dating tips; Good Grief!

As for UK underage kids needing ambition (blinks) sounds like they have a little to much to get themselves into trouble. How about as you said, sex education. It really is a case of children having children. (Hugs)Indigo

  2. In the UK he would have had in depth sex education in Junior school at the age 10/11 with no holds barred. What is lacking is any teaching about relationships, responsibility and marriage with a mother and father present being the best way to bring up a child.

  3. I heard about both incidents earlier this evening. Glad the Brit. Airw. Jet made a safe landing.

Very sad for both young parents of that new baby, I'm curious about the parents (grandparents).

  4. Wow that's so young! How sad. My son did have a class on relationships and sex education. But, I also made sure to discuss it with him. I'm pretty open with my son...so we've had some good talks. He did draw the line when I was going to show him how to use a condom on a banana, though. LOL! He said he already KNEW how to do it. Hmmmmm...ok.
