Notice

Like I already said on Facebook, I may be gone a while. I'm sorry I haven't been round people's journals in recent weeks, and am not likely to do so immediately. I won't keep up the hypocrisy of getting you to call round to read my inane twitterings, without me reciprocating in kind.

  1. well, we know you will be back when you can. A pity though. I know you are interested in war, collecting as you do the war graves and my story today is a story of WW1.

  2. That's ok...we're just glad to hear from you even if your entry only says "Hi." At least we know you're ok. Don't worry about us, we'll be here when you get back for good. Wishing you well, Linda in Washington where it's raining and 60*

  6. Don't worry about tit for tat, Guido. I read blogs because I want to; not because I'm looking for a comment in return.

  9. Guido, You come round when you have time and never, ever worry about reciprocal reading/commenting.

We all have busy spells in our lives and here, in our little corner of the www, I like to think we respect each other enough to understand we can't always ... do ... what-ever.

    See when you can!

  10. Don't feel you're obligated to comment. That's not what blogging is about, and that is not what our community is about. There's no hypocrisy. We don't give comments to get them. Most don't, anyway. And you know what? We all have times when we feel burnt out a bit, and we just have to step back for a bit. So enjoy your time doing whatever. and if you want to read blogs (without commenting), and post too, go right ahead. We do different things in different seasons. I am finding I also can't always keep up the pace. Now go and have yourself some fun!

  12. don't ever feel like you have to come 'round and leave a comment for me to visit you. i visit blogs that sometimes i don't leave a comment. if i tried to leave comments everywhere i wouldn't have time for my own blogs.
