Ferry helps yacht

Last night, the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry MV Clansman was on passage from Oban to Barra, when it came across a yacht whose mast had suddenly broken. This happened in the Sound of Mull, northwest of Oban. The ferry stood by the vessel, the Morwenna, until the RNLI Lifeboat came down from Tobermory to give her a tow into Mull. More here

  1. Hope everyone is OK. Glad that the Ferry was able to stand by till they were rescued. I can't imagine being out at sea much. I've only been on the ocean by boat a couple of times & then not far out. I've swam in it a few times. I'm very landlocked unfortunately as I love the ocean. Isn't there some saying "the sea is a cruel mistress" or something to that effect? Have a good week.
