Good morning all, it's another gorgeous morning in Stornoway. Just watched the Clipper Clanger reposition into Glumag Harbour, ach don't blame them, it's nicer over there.
Western Isles Council is facing another round of spending cuts, totalling £11.4m over three years. We have just come through £6m worth of cuts, so that leaves us wondering what more services we are going to lose.
Meanwhile, the MV Isle of Lewis was delayed on the first crossing of the day, after it was diverted to help in the search for missing canoeists in Little Loch Broom. They were duly found safe and well on a beach in Scoraig.
