Sunday 6 October

The Hebrides came into Stornoway at midday to take up the run from the Isle of Lewis, which is currently in Greenock for repairs. A creel had become entangled with the prop of the IoL, causing damage to hull and prop.

The former freight ferry Muirneag is making its way south across the Bay of Biscay, and was located off Cape Finisterre, northwestern Spain, by late evening.
