Picture post

First of all, I have changed the front pic - I was getting depressed by the wintry scene with that ruined house. Its place is taken by a view from Harris, and I'm taking the liberty of lumping the southern part of the Long Island with Lewis, the northern part of it.

The volcanic ash from Iceland gave us a fantastic sunset last night.

Is this man drowning in his own lawn?

Smoke plumes from muirburn (this was before the volcanic ash story erupted)

  1. Thank you for the lovely beach picture. Most of our trees have tiny leaves on them now and every thing is quite green here. Heavy winds at the moment blowing a cold front through to us. We have had off and on showers but it is still pleasant out.

  2. I just love the new header picture Guido!
the 'LAWN MAN ' photo was funny!
I can't believe how my garden has rushed its way into spring. It is such a feast for tired old eyes.
This clear blue sky weather, regardless of the volcanic ash, is just life giving. It has fair cheered me up after our winter.
I hope yours and our good weather lasts a long time.
