Date of death: 19 January 1919 at the age of 29
Wounded in action in France and lost the sight of this left eye. Returned to Canada after discharge and died of pneumonia.

ReplyDeleteWow, so I am reading here winds did reach 100 miles an hour. I have not been able to get back before now to find out how that night went. I am sure you don't have that kind of winds very often. Must have been quite an experience. But not one I particularly want. Gerry
